Rauha Huigiok LIM

I'm a Physics major in Ateneo De Manila with no formal linguistic background, but growing up speaking English, Tagalog, Philippine Hokkien, and Mandarin introduced me to the world of languages early on. When a friend wanted to learn Hokkien from me in high school, I realized the lack of research in this field, and that I may witness language death if nothing was done. I'm glad to have discovered The Lannang Archives in May 2020 as a place to contribute with like-minded people. Many languages have gotten my interest, but I just couldn't leave Hokkien on the side.
