Wilkinson Daniel Wong GONZALES

I teach and do research at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), where my work focuses on language, identity, and power. Outside of academia, I enjoy winding down with Netflix, playing mobile games, and discovering new places to eat—I'm definitely a foodie at heart. I founded The Lannang Archives (TLA) out of a deep passion for uplifting communities that have often been rendered invisible: whether because of language, ethnicity, or social stigma. TLA is my way of creating space for voices that have been overlooked, and of building pride in our complex, hybrid identities.
